Marie McGrath – Artist Statement & Bio
The images in this exhibition were taken in some of the more
popular photographic locations of our Wexford coastline. However,
I search for different viewpoints and enjoy watching waves, looking
at the whirls and pools emerging as the water crashes against the
rocks. The ever changing weather conditions are a wonderful
source of inspiration. Ferocious or tranquil I never tire of going
there. I aim to capture a different image in different lighting
conditions, another time of day, another season. For me being out
there with my camera is always a rewarding experience.
Mary Ryan – Artist Statement & Bio
Landscape photography interests me most. I am very lucky to live
in the Hook Head area, which has ancient abbeys, castles,
churches, beautiful beaches, woods and gardens in abundance. I
am never short of places to photograph. In this exhibition I have
included some of my favourite landscapes showing the passing
seasons and changing weather, all captured to show a moment in
time.
